Planning a Relaxation Spa Day in London, Ontario? Here's What to Know

Not all spa days are created equal.

Some are a 60-minute massage and a cup of herbal tea on the way out. Others are the kind of afternoon where you walk in feeling like a wrung-out dish towel and leave feeling like an actual person again.

If you're looking for the second kind, a real, full-day wellness reset or relaxation spa day in London, Ontario, here's what to look for, and where to find it.

What Makes a Spa Day Feel Complete

A satisfying spa day usually has a few things in common:

  • It starts with something that slows your nervous system down before anything else happens (not a rushed locker room check-in)

  • It layers treatments that build on each other, rather than one service that ends too quickly

  • It leaves you with something beyond relaxation, clearer skin, deeper breath, a body that actually feels different

At Salt Holistic Spa in London, Ontario, we've built our Fall Spa Passes around exactly this idea.

The Fall Spa Pass: Our Most Complete Day-Off Package

The Fall Spa Pass brings together four things that genuinely work together:

  • A 45-minute Himalayan Salt Cave therapy session to open the lungs, quiet the mind, and ease the nervous system into rest

  • A 55-minute Vitamin C Booster Facial Massage by our founder Galina Penkin, a former nurse whose clinical background means she understands skin at a level most aestheticians don't

  • A 15-minute LED Mask Treatment to stimulate collagen and leave skin visibly brighter

  • A warm Herbal Tea Ritual to close the session

The weekday pass is $149 per person (regularly $199). The weekend pass is $169 per person (regularly $219). Both can be booked as a solo experience or bought as a gift.

What to Expect When You Arrive

Salt Holistic Spa is a calm, intentional space. It's not a loud, high-traffic facility. When you arrive, you're not rushed from one room to the next, the experience is paced.

Galina Penkin is the lead aesthetician and she brings the same precision to a facial that a good clinician brings to any procedure: methodical, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in what happens to your skin after you leave.

The salt cave itself is something most people in London haven't experienced yet. Himalayan salt lines the walls and floor, the air carries fine salt particles, and the room is lit softly. You sit, breathe, and let it work. Forty-five minutes in there tends to feel like two hours of sleep.

Add-Ons Worth Considering

If you want to extend your time, our Relax Face, Neck, and Head Massage (60 minutes, $135) pairs well with the Spa Pass on the same visit. Our Stress Relief Boost (90 minutes, $120) is another favourite for people carrying chronic tension.

You can also explore our Teacher Sanctuary Package ($89, 75 minutes) created for teachers but genuinely useful for anyone in a caregiving role who needs something structured and restorative.

How to Book Your Spa Day

Visit saltholisticspa.com to browse services and book your visit. Not sure where to start? Book a 30-minute Personalized Facial Consultation ($50) with Galina, she'll assess your skin in person and recommend exactly what it needs before you commit to a full session.
