First Salt Cave Visit in London, Ontario: What to Expect
Booking your first salt cave session in London, Ontario? It helps to know what the visit looks like before you arrive. Here is what a 45-minute session at Salt Holistic Spa involves, what to wear and how to book. Salt therapy here is a wellness experience, not a medical treatment.
What Is a Salt Cave Session?
A salt cave session is a quiet, 45-minute visit to a softly lit room lined with Himalayan salt, where you sit back and slow down. Many guests use the time to rest, unwind or simply do nothing. To read more about the idea behind it, see our halotherapy page.

Before You Arrive
Book ahead. Adult sessions are booked online, and children's sessions are on the kids' salt cave page.
Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in before your 45 minutes begin.
Tell us if you are bringing a child. The salt cave holds up to 4 adults and 2 children at the same time, and children under 5 are free with prior notice.
Know the cancellation rule. You can reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice without losing your deposit. Deposits for cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are not refunded or transferred.
What to Wear
Comfortable, loose clothing is the easiest choice, since you will be sitting or reclining for 45 minutes. Layers help you stay comfortable when you arrive and when you leave. If you are unsure what to bring, call (519) 858-5858 or email info@saltholisticspa.com and we will help.
What Happens During Your 45 Minutes
You settle into the salt cave and the time is yours. Many guests put the phone away, sit back and let the minutes pass. At 45 minutes, a session fits easily into a lunch break or an afternoon out in London.
How Much Does It Cost?
At the time of writing, a session is $45 for adults, $35 for seniors, $30 for students and $20 for children. Prices can change, so check the booking page. Our full salt cave price guide lists everything in one place.
Hours and Location
Salt Holistic Spa is at 770 S Wenige Dr, Unit 2, London, Ontario. At the time of writing we are open Monday and Tuesday from 11 am to 6 pm and Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, and closed Wednesday and Thursday. The booking page shows live availability.
Make It a Longer Visit
If one session feels like too little, pair the salt cave with a facial. The Fall Spa Pass ($149 on weekdays at the time of writing) combines a 45-minute salt therapy session, a 55-minute Vitamin C Booster Facial Massage, a 15-minute LED mask treatment and an herbal tea ritual. For more ideas, read our guide to planning a relaxing spa day.
If you are pregnant or have a health condition, check with your healthcare provider before booking.
